The Demonstrator

Interactive model of the “Main Chamber” of a quantum computer by PLANQC

The Demonstrator, developed by SAFE Agency in collaboration with industrial designer Tobias Lugmeier for the Munich-based quantum computing start-up PLANQC, is an interactive model of the “Main Chamber” – the core of their groundbreaking computational process. Newer updated versions of the demonstrator are designed for frequent use and transportability - to be installed in Labs, Fairs or exhibitions all over the world. This required a sturdier construction made from high-precision milled aluminium, high quality materials, updates on accessibility, maintainability and usability. It is now featured in the Future Box, an AI-hosted exhibition at Forum der Zukunft in the Deutsches Museum, Munich. The exhibition explores the possibilities and risks of emerging future technologies.
